Accept cards anywhere your studio goes — Stripe and Tap to Pay come to ArtManager
For some time, ArtManager has helped artists manage every aspect of their business—from artwork inventory and collectors to invoices and payments.
There was just one missing piece. Actually taking the payment. Until now, you had to process a card in a separate app and then return to ArtManager to record the transaction manually.
ArtManager 10.2 changes that.
You can now accept credit card payments directly inside ArtManager using Stripe, including Tap to Pay on iPhone. The moment a collector says, "I'll take it," you can process the payment and have the transaction automatically recorded in your books—without ever leaving the app.
Take Credit Card Payments with Stripe
ArtManager now integrates directly with Stripe's secure payment platform.
Simply select Credit Card when receiving a payment or creating an invoice. Stripe's PaymentSheet opens, your collector enters their payment information, and ArtManager automatically records the transaction once the payment is approved.
Benefits
✓ Accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Apple Pay
✓ Available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac
✓ Payments automatically sync with your records
✓ No duplicate data entry
✓ Secure Stripe-powered processing
Because payment records are only created after Stripe confirms a successful charge, your ArtManager records and Stripe account stay perfectly aligned.
Tap to Pay on iPhone
ArtManager now supports Tap to Pay on iPhone, allowing you to accept contactless payments without additional hardware.
When a collector is ready to purchase, simply choose Tap to Pay and have them tap their card, Apple Pay device, or contactless wallet against your iPhone.
No card reader.
No Bluetooth device.
No separate payment app.
Just your iPhone, ArtManager, and Stripe.
Perfect For
Art festivals
Studio tours
Gallery openings
Outdoor markets
Pop-up exhibitions
Artist demonstrations
Tap to Pay is currently available on supported iPhone devices, as required by Apple's Tap to Pay framework.
Guided Setup in Minutes
We know payment integrations can sometimes feel overwhelming.
That's why ArtManager includes a built-in Stripe Payments Setup Wizard designed specifically for artists.
Located in the Payments menu, the wizard walks you through every step with clear instructions and built-in validation.
The Setup Wizard Helps You
Create a free Stripe account
Locate your Stripe Publishable Key
Deploy a free Cloudflare Worker using a ready-to-use template
Create a Stripe Terminal Location for Tap to Pay
Configure ArtManager settings
Run a live $1 test payment to verify everything works correctly
Most studios complete setup in 15–30 minutes, and existing Stripe users are often up and running in less than 15 minutes.
Built with Security in Mind
Your payments remain completely under your control.
Funds are deposited directly into your Stripe account
ArtManager never handles or stores card data
Your Stripe Secret Key remains inside your private Cloudflare Worker
No payment records are created unless the transaction succeeds
If a card is declined, a customer cancels, or a network interruption occurs, ArtManager simply does not create a payment record.
That means no duplicate entries and no cleanup later.
Your Existing Payment Methods Stay the Same
Credit card processing is an addition—not a replacement.
You can continue using:
Cash
Check
Venmo
Refunds
The new Stripe options simply appear alongside your existing payment methods whenever you need them.
Getting Started
Update ArtManager from the App Store.
Open Payments → Stripe Payments Setup.
Follow the guided setup wizard.
Run the test payment verification.
Start accepting Credit Card or Tap to Pay payments immediately.
For advanced users, all Stripe configuration options are also available under Global Settings → Stripe Payments.
Looking Ahead
We're already exploring deeper Stripe integrations, including Stripe Connect, which could eliminate the Cloudflare Worker setup entirely and make onboarding even faster.
For now, we're excited to bring secure, integrated card payments directly into the place where you already manage your art business.
Because recording a sale and collecting payment should happen in the same app.
Welcome to ArtManager 10.2.
